End of the Tunnel

- What's up? 

 Over the weeks, my studying capacity had kicked into overdrive and I was quarantined in my room like the plague. Just when I didn't think I'll ever see that light at the end of the tunnel - there it was. After completing the final question on my chemistry midterm, there was nothing more satisfying than relief and (temporary) freedom. I spent turkey day turning up with my friends and passing out at 5a.m. I hate to say it, but I miss my family - those within a phone call away and those within a plane ride away. As much as I adored attending one of those big, traditional family feasts, I always remember where I am and how everything has changed since I last attended one of these feasts. Most of my family were miles away from me and I got used to the more quiet dinners over time. For better or for worse, I'm always trying to remain thankful. Anyways, I hope everyone else had an extravagant Thanksgiving, whether if it was with those you love dearly or with that one person you can never love more than anything else - yourself.
